Abstract:

After years of investigating the nature of proteins and viruses as a student/postdoctoral researcher, I escaped from the lab to focus on science communication. In addition to my day job as a senior science editor in academia, I enjoy writing about science in my free time for more general audiences and finding new ways to visualize data.
